Meet One Of The Faces Behind The Bubble
I’m Jeff Naukam, the proud co-owner of The Bubble.
I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.
My college roommate and I had an idea of how we could help people and companies “design stuff.” We wanted to provide tangible creative services that would take our clients’ bubbling ideas to new heights and spark attention to their product, service, or company. We envisioned much more than just “designing stuff,” and that was when we formed The Bubble in 1999.
At The Bubble, we help clients share their brand message to their target audience by designing creative solutions that impact their business. This often translates into theming spaces, experiential marketing, brand domination, signage, decorative elements, promotions, graphics, banner programs, and so on.
Today, we have so many more options to be innovative with clients – advanced technology, diverse materials, increased speed of production, improved relationships, etc. Whereas, when we first started over twenty-one years ago, we had to pretty much stay within our box.
As a leading creative design and production company, we always do the right thing, no matter what! We are also innovative, God-centered, respectful, and honor our client’s word at all times.
As an entrepreneur at heart, I love the challenge of innovating and growing a business. That being said, I worked my first job out of college for a printing company in Grand Prairie, TX, and then was Lead Designer for a Point of Purchase display company for another three years.
The main reason I entered the creative service business and launched a company of my own is because I believe God made me this way. As an individual, I would always look at things with a critical eye and push the envelope to do something that I’ve never done before. Yep! I do, that is always my response when someone asks me why I got into this business.
As a business owner, one part of my job that I enjoy the most is creating something out of nothing. Taking clients napkin sketches, dreams, and visions and turning them into reality is incredibly fulfilling. However, owning your own business is no cake-walk; it’s hard work! Everyone is on commission! I’ve learned that in challenging times, we must rely on a steady calm response as fear can be a killer. But the freedom I’ve experienced while running this business has been super rewarding, and I wouldn’t change that for the world!
Another satisfying part of owning this business is finding out that clients are happy with the services we provide, and treat us as more than just vendors. After all, we care about the people, businesses, and industries we serve. We’re part of a much larger family!
As a Christian, I have to give credit to Jesus, who allows me to be creative and continues to help us grow our business. I do it for His glory! A close second is my business partner and spouse, Amy. Then all the relationships (clients, suppliers, partners, supporters, etc.) we’ve built over these years that allows us to do what we do.
When I’m not working, I spend most of my free time outdoors. I love helping young men become successful and contributing adults to society. I also love being a friend to those affected by disabilities.
I continue to maintain a personal relationship with Jesus; I’ve got the greatest story to tell about how He transformed my life and other people’s lives. I just want everyone to know Christ and thrive in His life!
